United Food and Commercial Workers International Union is one of the largest unions in the United States. Most of the union's members are butchers, canners, meat packers, supermarket employees, or other workers in the food industry. The union, usually called the UFCW, also represents clerks of department stores, drugstores, and shoe stores; employees of hospitals and nursing homes; workers in the fur, leather, and shoe industries; and other employees. It is affiliated with the Change to Win labor federation.
