National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) is an organization of American manufacturing companies. It is the largest broad-based manufacturing advocacy (support) group in the United States. It serves as a policymaking body for the manufacturing industry on industrial and economic matters, and other public issues. It also interprets industry's policies to the federal government and the public. The organization's 14,000 member companies produce more than 80 percent of U.S. manufactured products.
