Louth, County, is the smallest county in Ireland. It lies on the east coast, in the northeast corner of the province of Leinster and of the Republic of Ireland. It has two large towns, Dundalk and Drogheda. County Louth has more people living in towns, and is more industrialized, than most areas of the Irish Republic. Most of the people are Roman Catholics.
