Hornsby, HAWRNZ bee, Rogers (1896-1963), an American baseball player, is often called the greatest right-handed hitter of all time. Nicknamed Rajah, he won seven National League batting titles, six in succession, and had a .358 lifetime batting average. Only Ty Cobb, with a .367, had a higher average. Hornsby batted .424 in 1924, a single-season record.
