Hogan, Hector (1932-1960), was an Australian sprinter. In Sydney, in March 1954, he equaled the world record for 100 yards of 9.3 seconds. In 1956, he was Olympic bronze medalist in the 100 meters event in Melbourne, Australia. He was the Australian 100 yards champion for seven successive years from 1952 to 1958.
