Ge, zhay, Indians are one of the largest groups of Indian tribes in Brazil. The Ge tribes include the Apinaye, Canela, Gavioes, Kaingang, Kayapo, Kraho, Krikati, Panara, Suya, Tapayuna, Xabriaba, Xavante, Xerente, and Xokleng. Today, there are about 54,000 Ge living in the central highlands of Brazil.
