Siple, SY puhl, Paul Allman (1908-1968), was an American Antarctic explorer and geographer. While a Boy Scout, Siple was a member of Richard E. Byrd's first Antarctic expedition in 1928. He headed the biology department on the second Byrd expedition from 1933 to 1935, and was geographer for the U.S. expedition from 1939 to 1941.
