Dhoti is a traditional Indian garment that is still worn by many men in India. It is made of a piece of white cloth that is either wrapped around the waist and between the legs or worn like a skirt. It is used widely in West Bengal, Bihar, Maharashtra, Gujarat and parts of south India. The dhoti has no religious or caste significance. But, as a rule, Muslims tend not to wear it.
