Daley, Victor (1858-1905), was an Irish-born Australian poet. He wrote whimsical satirical verse that was chiefly concerned with social criticism. He was also known as Creeve Roe, an Anglicized Gaelic word for branch. Daley had great difficulty getting his scathing satirical poetry published. Most of his verse remained unpublished until some representative satires were published in the collection Creeve Roe (1947).
