Constitutional Union Party was an American political party formed in 1859 by former members of the Whig and Know-Nothing parties. At a convention in Baltimore in 1860, the party nominated John Bell and Edward Everett for President and Vice President. The candidates lost, and the party died out. See also Whig Party; Bell, John.
