Cole, G. D. H. (1889-1959), was a British economist, political writer, and novelist. His books include Organized Labour (1924), Gold, Credit and Unemployment (1930), The Intelligent Man's Guide Through World Chaos (1932), Principles of Economic Planning (1935), Socialism in Evolution (1938), and A Century of Co-Operation (1945). He collaborated with his wife, Margaret Isabel Cole, on political works and detective stories.
