Clarence River is the name of two rivers in Australasia. One is in the northeast of the South Island of New Zealand. The other rises on the southern slopes of the McPherson Range in northeastern New South Wales, Australia. It flows into Shoal Bay near Yamba, on the northern part of the state's coast. The city of Grafton is the main center in the Clarence Valley.
