Chauvin, Yves, shoh van, eev (1930-...), a French chemist, won a share of the 2005 Nobel Prize in chemistry for his work in developing a chemical reaction called metathesis. Chauvin shared the prize with the American chemists Robert H. Grubbs and Richard R. Schrock.
