Cerutty, Percy (1895-1975), was an Australian sports trainer and teacher. Cerutty trained nine world record holders. At his athletic center at Portsea, in Victoria, he coached such track and field athletes as Bill Baillie, Betty Cuthbert, Herb Elliott, Murray Halberg, John Landy, and Dave Stephens. He also coached the boxing champion Jimmy Carruthers and Australian champions in other sports.
