Cattell, kuh TEHL, James McKeen (1860-1944), an American scientist, professor, editor, and publisher, pioneered in the field of experimental psychology. He taught psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, Cambridge University, and Columbia University. He served as editor of several scientific publications, including Science, The Scientific Monthly, and The American Naturalist. He also was editor and publisher of American Men of Science (now American Men and Women of Science). Cattell was born in Easton, Pennsylvania.
