Brown, Jim (1936-...), was one of the greatest runners in National Football League (NFL) history. Brown, a fast and powerful fullback, played with the Cleveland Browns from 1957 until he retired after the 1965 season. He won the league rushing championship a record eight times and was awarded the Jim Thorpe Trophy as the NFL's Most Valuable Player in 1958, 1963, and 1965.
