Berkeley, Sir Lennox (1903-1989), was a British composer. His works include chamber music, works for piano, symphonies and other orchestral pieces, and songs and choral compositions. He also wrote four operas, notably A Dinner Engagement (1954), which was praised for its subtle humor.
