Barr, Bob (1948-...), was a member of the United States House of Representatives from 1995 to 2003. Barr, a Republican, represented Georgia. He was known as one of the most outspoken conservatives in the House, and he took strong stands against gun control and abortion. In February 2003, he announced that he would run again for election to the House in 2004, but he withdrew from the race a few months later.
