Arizona State University is a coeducational state-supported university with campuses in Tempe, Phoenix, and Mesa. The university offers programs in architecture, business, education, engineering, fine arts, law, liberal arts and sciences, nursing, social work, and technology. Arizona State University grants bachelor's, master's, and doctor's degrees. The Center for Meteorite Studies, which is in Tempe, houses one of the world's largest collections of meteorites. The school was founded in 1885. It became a university in 1958.
