Apatosaurus, uh pat oh SAWR uhs or ap uh toh SAWR uhs, was a giant, plant-eating dinosaur that lived about 150 million years ago in what is now the Western United States. It belonged to a group of huge, long-necked, long-tailed dinosaurs called sauropods.
