Acrylic, uh KRIHL ihk, is any one of a group of synthetic products made primarily from petroleum. Acrylics are manufactured as fibers or plastics or as substances called resins (see Resin, Synthetic). Common acrylics include Acrilan, Lucite, Orlon, and Plexiglas.
